Castle Garage Inc provides garage door and gate installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance services in Southern California. Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change without notice. All services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed contractors holding CSLB License No. 1154002.
For home improvement projects with a contract price of $500 or more (including labor and materials), California law (Business & Professions Code § 7159) requires a written contract before work begins. This contract must include a description of the work to be performed, the contract price, payment schedule, and estimated start and completion dates. By law, you have the right to cancel such a contract within three business days of signing. We will provide a written contract for all qualifying jobs.
Estimates provided in person or by phone are good-faith approximations based on information available at the time. Final pricing may differ if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the service visit. We will communicate any changes to the estimated price before performing additional work. Written quotes are binding only when provided in a signed written estimate or contract.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in a written contract. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash. For larger installation projects, a deposit may be required prior to ordering materials; the deposit amount and payment schedule will be specified in your written contract. Returned checks are subject to a returned check fee.
We stand behind our work. Labor performed by Castle Garage Inc is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of service, unless a longer warranty period is expressly stated in your written service agreement. Parts and materials carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which we will pass through to you to the extent permissible. Warranty coverage excludes damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear.
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Castle Garage Inc’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. If arbitration is found unenforceable, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, supply chain disruptions, labor disputes, government orders, or other events outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected appointments promptly.
